Helena Jackowski married Graham Rhys Healey at the beginning of 1969. They had three children, Anthony, Andrew and Adam (1976).

They lived in Port Moresby PNG, December 1968 to September 1992. Unfortunately, Graham passed away while they were there, c. 1987.

Helena was primary school teacher 1969-1976, an Air Niugini Aircrew Pay Supervisor 1977-1982, and a bakery owner 1980-1992, while still working for the airline for a couple more years.

She moved to Brisbane in September 1992. She has been an Overseas Student Homestay "Mum" 1994 to the present, and a naturopath 1998 to the present.

She has grand children Caitlin (1996), Ayden (2000), and Anika (2005).
