Plant Species – Grasses

This is a page within Roger and Linda's Bunhybee Grasslands Web-Site.

Bunhybee Grasslands is a 49 hectare / 120 acre conservation property 35km south of Braidwood, in southern N.S.W.

Lists of the plant species found on the property have been broken into:

We've defined 'grass' broadly, pragmatically, and partly wrongly, by including:

• sedges and rushes (which we think is fair enough)
• clovers and plantains (which we appreciate isn't really right, but we're trying to reduce the length of the Flowering Plants page, because it's so big it's getting unwieldy!)

Within this page, for Grasses, there are two tables:

1. Native Species (about 50 species, with 8 particularly important genus in bold-face type)
2. Introduced Species (about a dozen species)

FC = Frequency Code / Abundance: Rp/c = rare patches or clumps < 3 patches with < 10 plants per patch, R = Rare at site (< 3 plants), O = Occasional (<5% cover), Ip/c = intermittent patches or clumps, I = intermittent/subdominant, F = frequent/dominant
