Lily wasn't in any of the indexes until 2017, when they released one based on mother's name; so she was a late entrant in the family-tree, extending Anthony Jacques Cheeper's count of children from 34 to 35.
Lily's nearest niece (if a person who dies at 16 months has a niece), Dorothy Docwra, had told Anne years ago that there were 12 children, not 11. And David Clarke in Sidmouth had told Roger years ago that there were more than 11. And Anne had picked the (for Kate Davidge, unusual) 4-year gap between Willy Tony and Lawrence as the probable place for a missing child. So they were all correct.
Her birth certificate shows Lily Edith Pearl Clarke as being born 28 May 1894 at 282 Ivydale Rd, Brockley, Lewisham (Sep qtr 1894, Lewisham 1D 1107).
We haven't managed to generate any theories about the origins of any of Lily's given names.
Her death certificate shows her as having died 2 Oct 1895, aged 16 months, at 282 Ivydale Rd, Brockley, Lewisham, of Diphtheria (3 days) and Asphyxia, father present at death (Dec qtr 1895, Lewisham 1D 649).
