This page is part of Linda's collection of Insular Flowers. We think this is interesting because islands inevitably have many endemic (sole location) species.
The Insular Flowers collection is a companion to Linda's collection of photographs of >550 species of Alpine Flowers, primarily from Europe.
This page contains flowers of Sicily, in the sequence in which we toured, from Palermo (which is towards the NW end of the island), anti-clockwise, i.e. W, S, E, N, and W back to Palermo. We toured all but the SE (Syracuse area) and the far NE corner.

In Malta, we were mainly in Valetta and at monuments, but some Maltese flowers inevitably threw themselves into the lens-path.
We did two short walks on the same day. Here's a map of the area showing Erice (West), Monte Cofano (green, centre), Zingaro (East)
