There were five children of the marriage. Anne and myself had been unable to trace the family, and we established contact through Vivian Watson only in August 2006. I then met the eldest, Glyn, who supplied the information in this page. I also met the youngest, Jo. The photo above was taken at Glyn and Rosie's wedding in 2005.
The first child was Glyn John Patrick Abbott, born 23 Apr 1944. He lived with his parents in Staines (very briefly), Brixton and Dulwich. He has worked for many years in banking and export finance, and as an entrepreneur, particularly in re-positioning 'frustrated stock'.
Glyn married Susan Mary Findlater in the late 1960s, and they lived in Ashford (west London). They had two children, and parted in the late 1980s:
Glyn partnered with Rosemary Angela COLLINS (Rosie) from the early 1990s, and they married in 2005. Rosie's father was English, and an engineer specialising in aircraft wings. Her mother is German (Dorothea von Recklinghausen), and she was born in Dortmund but grew up in Dorset. They live in Herne Hill (inner south London). They have one child together:

The second child was Geoffrey Francis Abbott, born 23 Mar 1948. He is married to Sharon D. Arney in Bath in Jul 1980 and lives in Bath Somerset. He is a Senior Lecturer in Biological Sciences at the University of the West of England. He paints and scuplts, and he has had paintings selected for exhibition in the Summer Show at the Royal Academy. They have two children:
The third child is Peter Timothy Abbott, born 31 Jul 1949. He is a teacher, and lives in West Norwood (inner south London). He was married to Susan Smith in Bath. He later partnered with Debbie Jordan (who was born in the U.K. but her family emigrated to N.Z. and whose father is a medical photographer there), and who has three children from a previous marriage. They live in south London, and have one child:
The fourth child is Jill Rosemary Abbott, born 15 Apr 1953. She is a teacher, and is partnered with Jim Kelly from Dublin. They live in Annerley (inner South London), and have no children.
The fifth child is Joanna Mary Abbott (Jo). She has an Arts degree and is a classroom assistant, and lives in inner south London. With partner Paul Goddard, who works with a large charity, she has three children:
