During the 1980s, Geoff Clarke (a great-grandson of Anthony Jacques Cheeper/Clarke and Mary Wanless, via Harold and Harold Ernest) went on an epic quest which discovered that Anthony had had four families and two names. He told the story in typewritten form. Scans of the pages are reproduced below (unfortunately with my scribble on them). I really should find some decent OCR software so that we can extract the text.
