[Salacious gossip about Newtown Sunday School suppressed - by order of the Editor]

In January 1967 I moved to Brisbane to commence my General Nursing Certificate at St Helen's Hospital.

I married Colin Ross in December 1969 and completed my training as a registered nurse in July 1970. I then worked for a short time at Princess Alexandra Hospital, and we moved back to Bundaberg in 1971 where our son Brendon was born in June 1971. Rachel was born 18 months later in December 1972. Brendon is a teacher in Townsville and married on June 24th 2006. Rachel died from complications of epilepsy in 1994.

We lived in Toowoomba from 1978 to 1994. During that time I worked for the Blue Nursing Service, completed a post-graduate degree in Nursing, worked as a Clinical Teacher for the nursing program at USQ, and completed a Psychiatric Nursing Certificate at Baillie Henderson Hospital. Colin and I separated in 1993 and subsequently divorced. I moved to Brisbane in May 1994 and commenced work at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in the Mental Health Division.

In October 1998 I married my husband Peter. Definitely the best decision I have ever made.

We moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2002, and live in the beautiful coast hinterland at Dulong.
